Eva V. Gibson is the author of several critically acclaimed Young Adult novels featuring grim themes and flawed, complicated characters. Her debut, TOGETHER WE CAUGHT FIRE, was named a Bank Street 2021 Best Children’s Book of the Year, while her sophomore novel, WHERE SECRETS LIE, was featured as a Booklist Review of the Day, a Booklist Best New Books selection, and received a starred review from Booklist. Her horror debut, FRIGHTMARES, was honored with a 2023 Edgar Award nomination. She is an active member of Mystery Writers of America.
Eva lives and works in Tennessee, and spends her days surrounded by kids, yarn, Smoky Mountain fog, and generations of inherited farm cats.
